DOWNRIVER COMMUNITY CLINIC

As a nonprofit offering healthcare to those uninsured or underinsured, Downriver Community Clinic was seeking a brand that felt casual, informal, inviting, and friendly. The client asked to maintain the heart and stethoscope mark, but give it a facelift. The mark was improved with simplification and removing unnecessary detail, increasing weight, and adding a pop of color. I redefined the color palette to enhance the clinic colors with more depth and replaced the red with a bright yellow. Beyond branding, I developed a custom, responsive Squarespace site that was user-friendly for the client to maintain and a full suite of branded Canva templates that the client could reproduce and update themselves as they continue to promote their clinic. Much of the imagery was stylized and edited with gradient maps to blend the mix of client-provided images with professional stock photos.
